Custom tuning is now available for the 3.5L Twin Turbocharged Ecoboost engines found in the 2010 Ford Taurus SHO and Lincoln MKS. These engines out of the factory are more powerful and efficient than nearly anything else on the market. Now they can be made even better!

As good as this engine is from Ford, they left a lot on the table. We have come together to figure out just where improvements can be made, and we have found them.

We have done our best to create a tune that will give you huge wide open throttle power gains, and it shows. Look at the dyno graph below. Not only did we pick up 48WHP, we also picked up 73FtLB torque! The reason for this is that we were able to pick up the power throughout the entire powerband, not just at the power peaks. In most vehicles you have a difficult time doing this, but with the combination of direct injection and the twin turbocharger, we were able to raise the lines nearly across the entire powerband. This equates to an astounding average gain of 51WHP and 59FtLB of torque. These are incredible gains, but we did not stop there. We have spent a significant amount of time refining the driveability, including better spool up times off the line, throttle responsiveness, and transmission settings. We are not satisfied with just good 1/4 mile or dyno numbers. We wanted to develop an engine and transmission calibration that would change the car completely, without making it too aggressive to drive every day. One of the biggest improvements here is in the transmission. The shifts are notably firmer during normal part throttle shifts, (without being notably harsh) but do not become aggressive until you really lean on the accelerator. Throttle response has been notably improved throughout the powerband giving you crisper response and a clean transition from part throttle operation to full boost and wide open throttle power.  Speaking of wide open throttle power, the boost has been raised, fuel and timing (both ignition and injection) have been optimized to provide you with a significant power boost over stock without being overly aggressive to the point that you have to worry about reliability. After all, this is our 93 octane street file. A race file is under construction.

The end result is a best of all worlds engine and transmission calibration that will deliver the power that you need to run circles around some of the best domestic and import tuner cars without sacrificing driveability and comfort. It is performance on demand.
