Here at Tuning By James, you can get what you need when it comes to custom tuning your vehicle. I have tuning solutions for nearly all Ford, and most GM and Chrysler vehicles. I use SCT software and hardware exclusively as it has the greatest coverage of the vehicles that I work with, and the software allows me to tune vehicles the right way, without having to compromise.

Even though the name may be relatively new to the industry, I have over 15 years of professional experience and spent 4 years working at SCT. I maintain an excellent relationship with SCT and their network of custom tuning dealers.

I offer tuning solutions for anything from stock or mildly modified mail order tunes, to remote tuning or on-site tuning of some of the most difficult combinations in the industry. I have tuned 900+ HP Vipers, turbocharged Escorts, Factory Five Kit cars, GT500s, supercharged Camaro’s, turbocharged direct injected Ecoboost and more… I keep up to date on the latest drivetrains from Ford (special thanks to a partnership with Streetstangs.us), including the Ecoboost in the SHO, MKS, and Flex, the 6.2 Raptor and now the 5.0 Coyote in the 2011 Mustangs. I am familiar with engine swaps and what it takes to get the drivetrains to work in the new chassis, whether it be fuel system changes, PATS, or canister purge, I can make it work (though sometimes it will require certain hardware changes). Whether it is a race car, or a street car, I will embrace your oddball combination that no other tuner wants to touch. I will even spend the time to explain to you what needs to be done and why (and yes, you will deal with me directly).
